What a great day we had on Saturday! I loved the views, the trees, the flowers, and especially the people. No smoke, no heat, and even some afternoon clouds made it the ideal day for a run. Your aid stations had everything we needed, with lavish heaps of encouragement on top. Thank you for all your work on our behalf!

The SOB was exactly what I was hoping for in my first 100k. The race organization was excellent with a great, well marked course. The atmosphere couldn’t have been better with the right mix of competition and support amongst all the runners. The aid stations were also just what you want due to the amazing crew of volunteers who were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. Overall a phenomenal race.

I absolutely loved the 100k. The course was gorgeous and fun. The runners were well supported with ample aid stations. The volunteers at the aid stations were tremendously helpful. I highly recommend the SOB events!

I loved the whole vibe in the ski lodge with shared meals and lots of chance to socialise. It’s so fun to meet people the night before the race and then to see them again out on the course. On course, the aid stations were all super, with all of the extras in addition to food and drink … sun screen, ice, lube. A much-appreciated luxury were the volunteers at all of the important turns, dedicating their whole day to make sure none of us went astray.

Thank you so much for organizing a fantastic event. The efficient packet pickup on Friday afternoon, the speedy bib pickup/registration on Saturday morning, and the stream of chitter chatter over the public address system. Not sure how you got the weather so perfect: just a hint of haziness in the morning to make outstanding photos possible, which faded away so that we could enjoy the majestic views over the mountains. Truly spectacular. The aid station volunteers were super friendly, eager and able to help with whatever ailed the runners. The hose down I got at Jackson Gap with ice cold water was especially welcome! I particularly enjoyed the parts where we could see the views on both sides of the ridge/hill we were running along. Really looking forward to returning next year. And thank you once again, for an excellent event!
